The Ultimate 10 Day Thailand Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok

  • Start your adventure in the exciting Sukhumvit area, which offers great access to transportation throughout the city.
  • Ride on the back of a motorcycle to night markets instead of taking Uber or tuk-tuks. Tip: you can use the Grab app for rides. Uber does not work in Thailand.
  • Check out Jodd Fair at Rama 9 for a lively night market experience.
  • Don’t miss the delicious street food—try Pad Thai!
  • Dive into Bangkok’s nightlife by visiting Soi Cowboy and exploring the Sukhumvit area.

Day 2: Bangkok

  • Hop on a canal boat and take the metro train to the Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin.
  • From there, walk to the small ferry that will take you to Wat Phra, where you can see the impressive Big Buddha. Tip: You can easily use Google Maps for directions.
  • Visit Wat Arun and rent a beautiful traditional Thai princess dress for about $12 to wear inside.
  • Afterward, head to Chinatown for some exploring.
  • Finish your day at Iconsiam, a stunning shopping destination. Check out their impressive food courts!

Day 3: Railay

  • If you want to avoid the touristy overdone islands of Thailand, you have to check out underrated Railay in Thailand! 
  • Catch a flight from Bangkok to Krabi Airport. Once you arrive, take a shuttle to Ao Nam Mao Beach. From there, hop on a quick ferry to Railay Pier.
  • Take some time to relax and explore Railay Beach.
  • Visit Phra Nang Bay Beach for its amazing pink orange sunsets and watch the talented cliff climbers in action. During sunset, most of the tour operators and groups have left. 
  • Stroll through the charming town area filled with restaurants and enjoy a lovely dinner at one of the beachfront restaurants.

Day 4: Railay

  • Wake up early to enjoy the peacefulness of Phra Nang Beach before the crowds arrive. Capture stunning photos without anyone else around.
  • Have breakfast in Railay Town to fuel up for the day.
  • Rent a kayak at Railay Beach to explore the surrounding caves, then kayak to Phra Nang Beach.
  • Afterward, park your kayak and hike to a cave called Hat Noppharat Thara.
  • Wrap up your day by watching the sunset at Phra Nang Beach.
Day 5: Ao Nang
  • Take a long tail boat ferry from Railay Beach to Ao Nang.
  • Relax and unwind at the amazing AoNang Fiore Resort. Enjoy the infinity pool overlooking the picturesque island scenery.
  • Rent a scooter from your resort and visit the Ao Nang night markets for some tasty streetfood.
Day 6: Hong Islands
  • Wake up early and visit the hong Islands for the day. Have you ever dreamed of exploring the stunning islands and unique floating rock formations in Thailand? Then, this is the place!
  • On this private tour, you will be picked up early from your hotel and taken to your private long tail boat in the ao nang Pier. From there, you will spend the day exploring different dreamy island locations and rock formations.
  • The tour is curated to what you want to do and see. Honestly, our captain was the best and took us to spots many tours do not go. The timing to see each spot was customized to what we wanted to do. It was a great price for everything we saw and did.

Day 7: Chiang Mai Elephant Experience
  • Fly from Krabi Airport to Chiang Mai.
  • Experience the once in a lifetime opportunity to visit an elephant sanctuary and walk side by side next to elephants. 
  • Be part of a private Elephant Care experience where you can give a spa treatment to a sanctuary elephant in the jungle river .
  • End your day with an amazing dinner at the sanctuary.
Day 8: Chiang Mai Jungle Day
  • Wake up to the sound of elephants outside your room. 
  • Start your day with feeding breakfast to elephants outside your room.
  • Enjoy breakfast overlooking elephants bathing at the river .
  • Continue your day with a bamboo rafting experience along the jungle river and see elephants bathing.
  • Go back to Chiang Mai old town and Explore the historic charm.
  • In the evening, check out the vibrant night markets.

Day 9: Chiang Mai

  • Try your hand at a Muay Thai or cooking class for an exciting experience.
  • Continue to explore the sights in Chiang Mai’s Old Town.
  • Don’t forget to visit the night markets for more shopping and food!
